Wow such a surprise place! Cuisine off the charts and fantastic selections with delicious sides and amazing sauces. On top of all that the service was wonderful and the unique design is extraordinary.

This was a cute restaurant with a good vibe. It was relaxing. Our server was great. The chicken salad sandwich was good. The Pablano corn soup was good, but honestly, it tasted like it might’ve been like a Watkins mix or something. It didn’t taste like it was homemade. The salad was fresh. The turkey sandwich was a good sandwich, too. We also had the espresso or coffee, crème brûlée and it was good. Very clean restroom.

Are you kidding me with this food?!?! Truly incredible start to finish. Highly recommend you save some room for desert. We had the cheese cake that stood as tall as me and the espresso Crème brûlée. If only words could describe how delicious everything was. Also, be sure to ask for Bobby as your server. Very attentive and he makes some incredible cocktails.

What a hidden gem in cozy downtown Denison. We enjoyed everything that we ordered, and the service was exceptional. Our waiter asked for any allergies, and was very attentive to us even though the restaurant seemed quite busy. I ordered fish and fries, and my wife ordered a half Ruben and salad. The fish came with a Chipotle sauce that was outstanding. The fries were coated with a generous dusting of tajin seasoning that set these fries on a whole new level. The Ruben and salad were outstanding. The pumpernickel rye was perfectly toasted and the pastrami and kraut and dressing added a wonderful tang. The salad was beautiful to behold and was delicious.

What can I say! I never gave all fives because I have a strict policy of “there’s always room for improvement “ but here I can’t obey to my own rule. Starting with the welcoming of the host, to the beautiful restored building, modern but still warm and cozy, our very friendly waitress “Amy”, and what can I say the food was Amazingly delicious. The chicken fried steak was tender and crispy as well seasoned with amazing mashed potatoes and scrumptious green beans, my shrimp and grits were creamy and tasty with the perfection of grilled bread and five juicy tasty shrimps, our daughter’s turkey sandwich was full and flavorful accompanied buy some crunch seasoned home fried chips. And what to say about the two desserts, lemon tart with a raspberry sauce drizzle makes for a great pallet cleanser or try their fantastic expresso crème brûlé, creamy with a sugary crunch and a coffee kick to keep you going on your day. Well I think I said it all 5 out of 5 ! Great job to the entire group of people the staff, keep up the good work and the smiles, thank you

This is a great spot in Denison. Atmosphere for dinner is perfect for date night. Breakfast and lunch are also good. We started with cocktails that were both very good twists on classic cocktails. I had the redfish which was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The tempura asparagus was tender with the light crunchy tempura that was not saturated with oil. Portion sizes were good and filling but not overly so. My wife had the Shrimp and Grits and they were also very flavorful and the grits were creamy and seasoned well. For dessert we couldn't decide between the chocolate cake or the creme brulee .. so we got both. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Highly recommend and hope we continue to get more great places like this in the area.

We really enjoyed our experience. Emily's has a great downtown layout with high ceilings and country chic decor. The service was exceptional and impressed us thoroughly. I ordered a dirty spicy martini that was so perfect. The shrimp and grits was wonderful with super rich smoked gouda grits and large shrimp. The beet salad was loaded with roasted beets, bourata cheese, candied pecan, arugula and delicious peppercorn dressing. We will be back!

We rarely get the chance to visit other small businesses, so when we do, we're very particular. Emily’s Kitchen did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the service was on point, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Special shout-out to our waiter Jes`us—you were amazing! Thank you, Emily, for running a place that delivers both great food and great service. We'll definitely be back!
